Application Questions for Individual and Small Group Study
1- What New Covenant promises does the Ark of the Covenant represent and foreshadow?
2- Why is important to have a firm foundation in New Testament concepts such as “we are the temple” and that Christ “abides in us” before moving on to explore other mysteries such as the Ark of the Covenant? What could happen in a believer’s life if they are not well-grounded in theological basics like this before pursuing other (less important) matters?
3- Why is valuable for believers to be skilled at discerning all mannner of spiritual things–just as Daniel was? Is it possible to discern and undertstand the enemy’s methods without being corrupted by them? What safeguards would you recommend to prevent a new believer from slipping into darkness?
4- What impact do you think a literal display of the earthly Ark of the Covenant (either by governments or on mainstream media outlets) would have on the public? Do you think this would convince some of the Bible’s accuracy or lead people to Christ? Do you think it would be a significant prophetic sign?
