EPISODE 27
What Do Earthquakes Reveal About the End Times?
In Episode 27 of The Watchman’s Journal, discover the prophetic and Biblical meaning of earthquakes and why they are some of the most important end time signs in Scripture. WJ producer Clifton Gadbois, a trained geologist, joins host Michael Fickess to discuss how seismic shifts in nature often parallel spiritual shifts in history—marking divine visitations, angelic activity, and the beginning of new prophetic seasons. They uncover how earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis connect both scientifically and spiritually to God’s unfolding plan. Whether you’re hungry for prophetic teaching, fascinated by the science of the earth, or seeking discernment about the times we live in, this episode will deepen your understanding of why earthquakes remain one of the most powerful prophetic signs of the end times!

Application Questions for Individual and Small Group Study
1- What is the benefit of studying both the Biblical accounts of earthquakes and the science behind earthquakes?
2- In the Moravian motto, it is said, “In essentials, unity; in non-essential, liberty; in all things, love.” Why is it important to give believers liberty on theological issues that are not essential to our salvation? What happens if we become too dogmatic about things like the mechanics of the flood’s impact on the earth?
3- Just as this program discussed with weather, seismic events can be a sign of spiritual activity, a prophetic message, or just the normal natural activity of the earth. Why is it important to draw this distinction and ask the Lord what it means?
4- Some of the factors the Lord might highlight as we are praying for an interpretation of an earthquake’s message might be the location, the magnitude, the depth, the date, and the time. Why is important to study biblical precedents and historical precedents as we seek to grow in our ability to interpret and understand what is happening?
