Application Questions for Individual and Small Group Study
1- In this episode, Rick defines a “gate of hell” as “an access point where we have given the enemy access.” Are there any areas in your life where you’ve had to deal with “access points” to the enemy in the past? Ask the Lord if there are any access points he wants to deal with today.
2- Rick explains that the unity of the church is one of the greatest mandates of Christ as expressed in John 17:22-23. Why is unity so important in order for the Body of Christ to overcome the enemy’s influence? Why is intercession for others often more effective in building unity that orthodoxy on minor theological issues?
3- Rick lists the “four winds of the earth” as military power, religious power, political power, and economic power. How does Rick’s historical interpretation of these powers help us to have insight on current events?
